An annual wellness exam is an opportunity to look for disease in an early and treatable stage of development. Acton Veterinary Clinic  makes sure to gather history, chart weight changes, evaluate the heart with an ECG, perform necessary blood work and do a thorough physical examination. This is also a good opportunity to update needed vaccines.

WELCOME TO THE ACTON VETERINARY CLINIC

Our clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Stephen Hess. Dr. Hess graduated in 1985 from the Ontario Veterinary College and has been practicing veterinary medicine at our hospital for the past 20 years. Dr. Hess enjoys working with both traditional and non-traditional companion animals.  Acton Veterinary Clinic has offered care for avian and exotic pets for over 20 years. Our hospital provides advice and a referral service to many other clinics in the surrounding area who are seeking help with avian and exotic patients.

Our clinic is staffed by an experienced team of animal healthcare providers.  At the "front desk" we have our treasured Tara and Sherri who have been with us for many years and who's friendly voices have become very familiar to our clients.   Sue has been the mainstay of our "kennel staff" for many years. She is kind and thorough in her work. Newer members of our team include Haviva, Sue, and Shirley, who need to be jacks of all trades. They help out with reception and keeping the "behind the scenes" clinic running smoothly.
